George Vernon Willborn II (January 8) is a Chicago native who got his big break as the house MC at All Jokes Aside in 1992. All Jokes Aside WAS Chicago’s first primarily African American comedy club. He shared the stage and befriended comedy greats like Jamie Fox, Bernie Mac and Steve Harvey, just to name a few. During his seven-year stint at All Jokes Aside, George became widely known as...The Stress Reliever!!

George went on to perform on many comedy tours, national stage plays and currently, a plethora of Funny Bones and Improvs across the country.

George’s radio career was birthed in 1996 on Clear Channel’s WVAZ V103 – The Mond Squad – John, Bonnie and George (1996-2006)! In the upcoming years, during 2006 – 2008, George commuted from Chicago to DC as co-hosts on both Michael Baisden Show (2006-2013) in the afternoon and in the morning on The Real DC Morning Show, WHUR (2006-2008). George then went back to his roots and was a co-host on the nationally syndicated, Doug Banks Show, WVAZ V103 from 2pm – 6pm CST, where he helped take the number 1 spot in afternoons. In 2015, George landed a supporting role in Spike Lee’s major motion picture film “Chi-Raq”.

There is a 2-drink minimum per person in the showroom. Soda, juice and water qualify. If you aren't drinking alcohol, the Bottomless is your only option. $15.00 for unlimited soda, juice and water.

If Preferred seating is offered AND you purchase them, you are guaranteed the best seats AS LONG AS YOU ARRIVE at the club 45 minutes prior to showtime (otherwise you will lose your seating status). Beginning with our February show and going forward, all Preferred Tickets will be sold in pairs. Every Preferred purchase will include 2 tickets. *** PLEASE BE AWARE NOT ALL SHOWS HAVE PREFERRED SEATING TICKETS OFFERED. IT IS UP TO THE COMIC THE TYPE OF TICKETS BEING SOLD. ***

Anyone arriving 45 minutes after your scheduled show time will not be permitted to enter. Please be aware that if you do not pick your tickets up 30 minutes prior to your show time, they could be subject to be resold. Especially on busy, sold-out weekends.

This is LIVE comedy. The length/start & end time/material is all to the discretion of the comic. The club has no control over that.

We sell our Preferred tickets in pairs only.
